Mission/Jobs

Our mission is to help entrepreneurs stay on the cutting edge as they grow with bespoke software and data science, and to make building custom software for SMEs a rewarding and efficient experience for everyone involved.

The software that small, growing businesses run has to be as agile, adaptable, and responsive as they are. Usually it isn't. Bloated, over-generalized, over-sold systems that solved a problem adequately a decade (or two) ago just can't offer the kind of experience that a modern SME needs. The best developers don't want to work with that stuff either. In markets that reward agility above all else, it shouldn't cost more to "customize" your software than it does to build your own system.

Our Team

We don't "rent out" developers or "fill external teams." We build from scratch. If you love building software the way we do, you know it's a multidisciplinary exercise. Every client we work with or internal venture we build is an opportunity to learn and make our work better. Experience in any particular area or technology is a lot less important than your engineering mindset, general understanding, and work ethic.

We're a handful of people. We're set to double by the end of the year.

You can apply by sending us an email

Tell us about yourself, how you work, and why you want to build for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Most internships will be paid.

If you bring us a business you'd love to build for, that's what you'll work on.

If a client decides it's time to take their project in-house and you want to keep working for them, we'll support that. We see this as a very successful outcome.

We're legally based in the EU ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ (sunny southern Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น) but we're 100% remote ๐ŸŒŽ, except for the occasional meeting and site-visit. We work with clients across the world (so far, two continents).

We don't offer FAANG salaries, we offer fair and realistic compensation in line with your local market. We want people who care about our mission, no resting and vesting. You'll work on one or two projects at a time, with a nice stack and with room to learn. You'll meet great people and feel good about what you build with them.

Stack Philosophy

We do our best to maximize flexibility and developer experience. Our clients usually have the same needs for their software as startups do: easy to change, fast to build, fast to scale. We want to build software that clients could easily take in-house if they want to. We chose the stack.

This is what part of our stack looks like

  • Web Applications and Mobile: TypeScript, React, ReactNative, NextJS, Tailwind, Cypress.
  • Data Science (et. al.): R, the tidyverse, fun starts with e1071. Python with SciPy/NumPy, Pandas, sklearn, PyTorch, FastAPI.
